I principally shoot both 35mm as well as medium format, in digital and film formats. Most camera bodies are Nikon or Phase One/Mamiya, with a complete range of zoom and prime lenses. I am a Nikon Professional Services photographer, so any specialized equipment requirements are immediately available.
Lighting and grip equpment for both studio as well as location settings.
Deliverables generally via shared drives (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.). For commercial shoots where the filesizes are too large for shared drives (due to ever increasing file sizes), delivery via external drive or our FTP Servers.
I am Roy Antoine, and my full name is comprised entirely of given names, so I go by Antoine. My nickname since childhood is "OyOy" (from Roy).
I grew up and lived (but still live part-time) most of my life in the south of France on the Mediterranean Sea, very near to the border with Italy. My spoken/written languages are French, Italian, English, German.
Until I set up shop in Miami in 2011, I traveled the world from my bases in France and Italy. My work took me to every continent of the globe.
The first part of my career I photographed primarily magazine editorial and fashion lookbooks for designers. This work was published in magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Vogue, etc. The lookbooks at the time were printed materials - very often to support mailorder.
My work has required me to interact with model agencies in all the major fashion cities worldwide and book all types of models.
The advent of the Internet and the move to Digital Photography has changed the process of capturing and handling images. Magazines and advertising markets have been disrupted, forcing changes as well. I'm running just as fast as everyone else to keep up the changes and still deliver quality in my craft.
